Sorry for the late reply but I try to fix this issue my self with out the
need to bother any one but my inexperience makes more problematic the
installation

I have done the instructions that dan provided on his kind reply but the
installation scripts starts but the following error is presented and the
install process stops:

Error 0x3.
You need a compiler (like gcc or cc) to continue with the
 with the installation.

I guess this is what dan meant wen he said "if the development tools are
install it should be pretty easy" part on his reply

Can any one share any Ideas on what I need to do to continue with the
installation?
or if is possible to install OSSEC on Mac OS X 10.6.5 with out the use of
the development tools or have that gcc or cc compiler install to have OSSEC
client install on the Mac's and then de-install the compiler once ossec has
been install

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Regards
/MemoHerdez.
