[ossec-list] Using OSSEC for Cloud Systems

Just I have a small question 
Can I use OSSEC to collect logs from VMs and send them to be analyzed in the 
host OS without VMM?
 
What are the common recommendations for using OSSEC for cloud systems? 
 
 
Are there any researches for build IDS for cloud using OSSEC?
