I've been using OSSEC for a while internally however I have a need to allow a remote system to talk with my local OSSEC server.
Presumably due to the agent setup this should be plenty secure (obvious caveat about bugs and the like applies, make sure to keep up with patches, etc). Anything I should watch out for? -- When someone says "I want a programming language in which I need only say what I wish done," give him a lollipop.
