Well, apparently something else happened, which is not a big deal as
we begin the production roll-out, so it is OK to start over in this
case.

1. Wiped the queue folder - bad thing to do - should have wiped FILES
and left structure, my bad.
2. Having wiped that structure and seeing how much was there, re-ran
the install with "update" and it did not fix them. So perhaps you can
put this in to run the section of he code that checks all the links --
this would be a great "fix-it" type of install option for idiots like
me (and I doubt I am the only one)
3. After a re-install/update, for some reason NOTHING would check in.
I was getting the infamous (1403): ERROR: Incorrectly formated message
from 'any' for all my clients (70 total).

So, because I don't have a huge stake in this and I have the installs
automated for all the systems, I am wiping my server (it had a ton of
test data in it I wanted to clear anyway) and started with a clean
install. I saved my rules and configs since I have agent.conf files
set for all my OSes and groups. And with the new authd daemon it won't
be too tough.

So my point in this email is perhaps a fix to the "update" portion of
the install script - a branch that allows "fixup" or something, that
recreates everything just in case something goes missing.

cheers
(and thank you for all your efforts - Dan and the entire community)
