Ah, I see now. I confess I didn't pay too detailed attention to the actual SQL 
pastes, just your comments on them. 

I suggest the way to look at this then is "why are my inserts and updates not 
committing?" (i.e., look at MySQL and not OSSEC as the problem) and then I  
personally will bow out, as I am decidedly not a dba. :)
