Sorry to drag up this old thread, but I am also experiencing this problem on the Japanese edition of Windows 7 SP1 (64bit).

Googling for this crash in English produces nearly 0 results, so I would like to put forth the hypothesis that the problem has to do with the Japanese OS. I'm willing to run test code and help with debugging if The Exhalted One Sir Daniel Cid has time to troubleshoot this.
