A lot of people like managing 1 file instead of managing X ossec.conf
files. Adding configurations for individual agents is easy with
"name."
Some users have a group of server providing a similar function can be
grouped with profiles.
These are just options for organizing your systems, use them however you want.

I think an error is produced when a directory doesn't exist.
