Hi, I am new to ossec and IDS in general but I need to set-up office for working on sensitive files. I was thinking of terminal based approach but I need to prevent users from copying files to terminal USB port. I know that I can just simply disable mounting of usb devices but this sounds to limiting for users. To outline: 1. central linux server with several disk less terminals (using for example LTSP). 2. Users can access files and work on them on the server (in text editor/IDE). 3. Users can mount local usb drive and copy other files from and to drive. 4. Users cannot copy content of one directory to local devices (attached to terminal).
