I have need to backup the OSSEC manager on one Ubuntu Linux server and restore it onto a new Ubuntu Linux server. I have hundreds of agents deployed and would prefer to not have to reinstall or reconfigure every agent to talk to the new server. Is there a process to back up the OSSEC manager, all logs, essentially everything pertaining to OSSEC (version 2.6) on one server and restore it onto a new server. On the new server I have already installed OSSEC 2.6 and I plan to change the IP of the new server to that of the old so all of my agents can once again connect after the restore. Is there any documentation anyone can point me to for achieving this? Thanks in advance for your help!
