Hello, I've noticed that ossec-syscheckd overloads disk I/O on my system tremendously. If it coincides with SMART short self-test disk subsystem becomes extremely slow to response to anything from ls to bash Tab key completion.
To be fair, this is a relatively old SATA drive (i.e. SATA I, 1.5Gb/s), and it's not terribly fast, but, still, I was wondering if I somehow could make ossec-syscheckd less aggressive in how it scans files. Any configuration parameters? I checked the manuals, but I found nothing. Any workarounds? Ivan -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ossec-list" group.
