I'm compiling 2.7.1 from source and building an rpm using my own spec file. I'm creating different usernames and a different groupname in my install. I want ossec to recognize these instead of the defaults. To do this i'm currently changing the variables in the src/headers/defs.h file with sed. Is there a better way to do this?
