I've been thinking we should make rules and decoders their own
repository. They should be able to stand on their own and the idea is
to have them updated more frequently than the main tree. Thoughts?
I think this is great idea and something I would would make use of.
This would allow for things like oinkmaster to allow people to keep up
today with the newest rules. I do think we need to think about how to
do this.
* Do we ship rules and decoders and second package or downloadable on
demand setup?
* How do we deal with managing versions of the rules and new features in
the code base?
* What about lists?
I am down and will be more then happy to help.
