Hi, I am one of those people who have issues with agent.con, ar.conf and merged.mg that don't always get propagated to agents. I have read through a lot of the threads and see that it all has to do with permissions. I am still struggling with a few hosts that work while similar hosts don't. It is painful to try and mimic the correct settings by hand. I have found if I delete and re-install an agent (also painful) that it can be cleared up, but I was wondering if the "powers that be" have ever thought of taking whatever magic happens in "install.sh" and create a "fix-perms.sh" for those of us who repeatedly find ourselves in this predicament?
