hi Sorry if you guys have already responded to this question (i couldn't find anything related to it on this group nor on any site ) as i am a rather new ossec convert , i though i'd ask here i have a log that i want ossec to monitor , the file is generated everyday , the filename contains both the current date and one space character in it so it is like this (on windows ) the file path is c:\app\%y-%m-%d app.log because i cannot use wild card (combined with date) , i tried to use different ascii code but none of them worked i also cannot use windows shortnames because they are not based on the current date so it won't be possible the predict the name of the file
