Please help me troubleshooting ossec hids 3.0.0 database output. I have follow the basic steps to configure database as in the book guide for ossec's previous versions.
When i login to mysql and connect to ossec database i can't see no tables. Ossec's *log* shows: ERROR: Error executing query 'SELECT id from server where hostname = 'localhost''. Error 'Table 'ossec.server' doesn't exist'. After that message other type of errors showed up. Should i create the table server with columns: last contact, version, hostname, information manually or is there any other way?
