If I want to avoid using screen then how it is possible. Is it possible to run
all the packages i.e. omniNames, wavLoader etc. in a single session or terminal
window , one by one?
I think it is possible, since I think only c_walLoader needs console
input. It will be a bit messy if you don't redirect the output of the
programs to a file or dev/null.
Bottom line: try it.

where I may find this kconfig?
Well, try zcat /proc/config.gz or look for .config in the directory you
build the kernel from.
I'm thinking screen is trying to open a pseudo tty to connect the extra
consoles too. I just did a scan of a config and couldn't find a likely
option though.
I tried some quick googling for more ideas, but nothing helpful found
quickly. Its hard because screen is a generic word :)

In dm6446 prompt when I type screen it responds nothing and no screen session
opens.
I've rebuild the console-image with OpenEmbedded but the problem is there.
Is this screen package necessary to run OSSIE on DM6446? Can I not run
waveLoader , nodebooter etc. in single window?
You can try without it, but I find it keeps things sorted out.
after running screen do a ps ax, I see something like this:
14271 pts/3 S+ 0:00 screen
14272 ? Ss 0:00 SCREEN
Maybe you need to make sure the pseudo tty's are enabled in the kconfig.
