I do not know HyperV at all I will take some time to browse the web about it on Sunday.
But hyperv seems to suport both paravirtualization with VMBus and device emulation. If you have some microsoft support maybe you can ask for what regular device hyperv can emulate. Maybe they are vanilla device like sata drives.
