Hi, I have two questions. First, what are the features and components present in cloudius/osv-base base image?
Sorry if this is a FAQ. I could not find an answer in http://osv.io/frequently-asked-questions/. Secondly, I tried using guestfish to answer that myself. Specifically, I ran 'capstan run cloudius/osv', and then looked at the disk.qcow2 with: $ guestfish --ro -a /home/nfv/.capstan/instances/qemu/cloudius-osv/disk.qcow2 With debug enabled, this shouted at me for a few seconds and then said: <snip> trying to open virtio-serial channel '/dev/virtio-ports/org.libguestfs.channel.0' Failed to connect to virtio-serial channel. This is a fatal error and the appliance will now exit. Usually this error is caused by either QEMU or the appliance kernel not supporting the vmchannel method that the libguestfs library chose to use. </snip> Is this because the osv-base image does not include virtio-serial device? Thank you. Regards, Sundar -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "OSv Development" group.
