"Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore has his own take about the divine
aspects of Hurricane Gustav's scheduled landfall just as Republicans
open their convention in St. Paul. Says Moore: "Gustav is proof that
there is a God in Heaven."

"ABC News’ Teddy Davis Reports: Former DNC Chairman Don Fowler
apologized on Sunday for joking in a private conversation that the
timing of Hurricane Gustav demonstrates that God is on the side of the
Democrats."

“If this offended anybody, I personally apologize,” Fowler told ABC
News. “It was a mistake, and it was a satirical statement made in
jest. And one that I clearly don’t believe.”
Then why did you say it, buttwipe? You sound like some right wing
religious fundo nutjob.

Ya notice the "If" as in "If I offended anyone". Of course you
offended people. 93% of the country is Christian and more or less 50%
Republican.

Why can't these guys say anything without the "If". Here's how you
make a real apology.

"I'm sorry that I offended anyone."

See how easy it was? No weaselly words. A straight up apology.

All I can figure is that this oxygen thief must be a lawyer.
(redundant, I know..)

Even more amazing is that these assholes must believe there is a God.
<grin>
