Barack Obama missed 290 votes (45.5%) Hillary missed 32.3% and McCain 63.8% <http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/110/senate/vote-missers/> What's odd is that this contradicts the article where they say that Obama missed 1.7% and it's the same darn site. Perhaps they cover different dates or something. To be fair, there are a lot of times where the vote was not going to be close so they were not actually 'needed'.
