Let's see. He announced that the capital gains tax rate hikes might
be left to just expire instead of being rolled back as he promsied.

The other day he said that he would no longer pursue a wind fall
profits tax on the oil companies though he didn't say how he would
fund the programs that he was going to use that money for
like energy credits for low income people. (that was also a promise)

Now he is going to leave a residual force and we all know that
Afghanistan is going to have to have troop levels increased. (kind of
a promise, with wiggle room)

My predicition.. Next up. The Tax cuts for "95%" will be scaled
back or eliminated and universal health care will not be able to be
funded "this term"

The good news is that we end up with the same policies of John
McCain, minus the actual military experience.

That's also the bad news as neither one had/has a workable plan.

When large numbers of people vote for someone that that they project
THEIR hopes and dreams on, without regard to the person and that
persons actual record, (beyond self promotion just what *is* he good
at?)
then disillusionment is almost guaranteed.

I did think it would wait until he was actually in office though. I
guess everything moves at internet speed now.
