This is one instance where I think the lefties should just maintain their cool a bit more. The man is speaking at a purely ceremonial function. His giving the invocation has no policy implications and I'll bet he makes it bland and generic. Obama has enough controversial preachers. Joe Lowery, a preacher prominent for his support of gay marriage, is giving the benediction and you don't see the fundies throwing a hissy over that which is somewhat remarkable in itself. it's weird to see the religious right being the relatively calm side. Obama has said that Warren is a person friend with whom he disagrees on several issues. I don't understand how anyone can treat this as substantive. -- Vegetarians eat Vegetables, Humanitarians frighten me _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
