The one thing about this I wonder.  If Hamas/Palestinians had the same  
level of hardware would israel keep going in?  Would a MAD principle  
work here?  It does get me that the people of Palestine elected a  
gov't and Israel basically ignored it because they did not like the  
outcome.  I do wonder how much their own actions helped put Hamas in  
the position of power it is in.

Both sides are being asses, but to pretend Israel is some kind of  
victim protecting themselves from those evil rettorists is pretty much  
bs.  Neither side is innocent.  There have been provocations on both  
sides.  I've seen some trying to claim Israel is the innocent victim.   
This is pretty far from the truth, especially at this point.

How about we just blame the British.  That damn Balfour Agreement  
started it all.
