It's crazy.

I swear that I only sent it once and then left for Bonaire to go
diving. Damn computer gnome..

The re-appearance did seem to correspond with me turning the computer
back on when I got back so I've got to think that it's wee little
brain didn't think the message was sent. (yet again)

Actually turning the computer off is a very, very rare thing and like
a good primate my superstitious behavior demands that I associate the
two events.

When I powered up I saw that I had a bunch of software updates but
other than the usual reboots, didn't really do anything special.

Hell. I should go back to Bonaire.

side note/bitch:

When took a direct flight to Atlanta so we had to go through customs
there. The plane made it on time, but we sat on the tarmac for an
additional hour because the "didn't have a gate for us" WTF? It's
not like we weren't expected.

Anyway, the extra hour and the slowest customs people on the planet
meant that we got to spend a unplanned night in Atlanta.

My small victory was that they did not discover my stash of Dutch
mustard and a jar of canned hotdogs (for the hotdog museum here)
