Hi,
Monteverdi2 has been developed 'from scracth' with different goals and a
different architecture than Monteverdi 1.x. There is therefore no
equivalency between the two softwares in terms of functionalities (best
to think of them as 2 different software). We are still releasing
Monteverdi 1.x for those needing it.
Meanwhile, the set of available otb applications in Monteverdi2
(applications do all the processing in Monteverdi2) includes the LSMS
framework, which is the first step toward a robust large scale object
labelling. See :

The next step is supervised classification of segments, which we have
started but not finished yet.
So in a near future you should be able to have the same functions in
Monteverdi2 using the applications. But not for now ...
