Hello,

I have the following problem: when I open a geotiff image a negative
spacing in provided in the y axis as the geographic value decreases with
latitude. However, it seems that negative spacing is not welcome by ITK (at
least I have read it in an Internet forum). For instance, in the example
ImageRegistration1.cxx the RegularStepGradientDescentOptimizer does not
work well when an input image has a negative spacing. Thus, I wonder if
there is any smart way to avoid this problem. The solutions that have come
up to me at first sight are:

- Check if the image has negative spacing ->put it positive (I have done it
and at least the optimizer works well then)
- Flip the image (I have not achieve yet to make the FlipImageFilter work)

They seem rather rough approaches to me, so I wonder if there is any other
smarter idea as I am a newbie with OTB and I do not know by far all of its
capabilities (for instance, the FineRegistrationImageFilter does perform
well with negative spacing).

Best regards
Carlos
