Hello, you need to update your OTB to get the application and also related filters used inside it. OTB compilation with all the tests is between 30 to 1 hour, if you don't activate the compilation of all tests and examples it is even faster.
There is perhaps also binary package available depending on your distribution. Finally OTB 3.6 is a really old version released 4 years ago now, so I would hightly recommend you to update your OTB.
