Hi Jason, I would suspect an issue with the way that the processing module in QGIS interpret one of the output parameter more than a bug of the applications. One of the optional output parameter is a text file which contains centroid positions. It could be related to this but I'm not sure.
I would advise to open a bug on the qgis tracker, please provide them the complete input parameters if possible (we can't see the some value of some parameters in the screenshot).
