Dear all,
I have several requests like this one for these applications performing
Object Based Supervised Classification which were developped by David
during his internship. We wanted to rework them to support all machine
learning models and all kind of OGR datasets, but since it will not
happen anytime soon, I figured that in the meantime, pushing those apps
"as are" in OTB will allow you to use (and enhance ?) them. Beware, doc
is limited and apps are experimental.
See :

The workflow is pretty much the same as for image classification :
Statistics -> Learning -> Classification.
Enjoy,
Regards,
Julien

Hi Julien,
I am a PhD student at the University of New South Wales in Australia
and a currently user of Orfeo-toolbox via Python wrapper under Ubuntu
14.04.
At the moment, I’m trying to implement Object-oriented classification,
which is not in OTB yet. However, recently I read this post:
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.graphics.otb.user/2534/focus=2538
saying that you can provide the code for an application which will
train a SVM model based on polygon examples and classify the remaining
vector file. I wonder if you could provide me with this code and if
it’s Python based?
Thank you in advance,
Yuri
