thanks Larry, I've merged your patch concerning deprecated signals to
Monteverdi2 trunk:

Not sure to have a clear and clean answer concerning the second issue
and OTBConfig.cmake... There is a huge work in progress for the next
major release to improve OTB modularity and the also entire build
process (see [1] and [2]). I'm sure that it will help to get rid of this
type of issue and I hope that it will make packagers life easier.
