Agus,

As Guillaume pointed out in his reply, this feature of extended filenames does not yet exist. It is planned. For now you are stuck with extracting channels beforehand with ExtractROI application. You can also use the new bandmath I believe (BandMathX), with an expression such as "im1b1;im1b2;im1b3;im1b4".

How would I select bands 1 to 5 with the extended filenames convention?
I've tried
"Bert20130602AOI1NAPCAw3.tif&sdataidx=0,1,2,3,4"

and

"Bert20130602AOI1NAPCAw3.tif&sdataidx=0 1 2 3 4"

But do not work

Thanks,
Agus
