Hi Rémi,
The internal JPEG2000ImageIO doesn't support writing. However, the GDAL
ImageFactory supports writing.
If your GDAL has one of the following drivers, you should be able to
write JP2 images :
- OpenJpeg driver (JP2OpenJPEG)
- Kakadu driver (JP2KAK)
- ECW driver (JP2ECW)
The streaming write support depends on the implementation of GDAL
drivers. Only ECW driver seems to offer this feature.
Note that OTB doesn't support Jasper driver.

Jasper might be a good compromise, but I've never tried. I would be
interested if someone had some feedbacks about these !
