Dear all,
This is an update email regarding the organization of the users meeting
and hackfest. You can expect a few more updates till the event! Note
that the wiki page [1] has also been updated.
First of all, regarding registration:
- There are a few people that participated to the poll and were
available at the chosen date, but did not yet registrer on the wiki
page. If you are still planning to attend, please do so!
- Also, if you already registered or when you will do, please also send
me an email with your travel plan and accomodation, since I am trying to
gather a contact list.
Regarding the program:
- Morning of the first day is dedicated to presentations of novelties in
OTB. I made some proposals in this direction in the wiki page [1]. If
you have some other topics you would like to hear about, we welcome any
other request.
- Afternoon of the first day is about you. It would be great if everyone
come with his/her 2-3 slides about how he/she uses OTB, what works well
and what could be enhanced. If your are willing to make and present
those slides, please send us an email so that we can add you to the program.
- Morning of the second day is about tutorials. I made two suggestions
in the wiki page [1] (external modules and applications), but feel free
to add more ideas, even if you can not give the tutorial yourself.
- Afternoon of the second day is for work groups. Again, I made some
proposal, but feel free to add your own.
