Dear all, sorry for my, probably naive question! But I am struggling with the installation of otb on windows 10. I am not yet very experienced with programming, so the step by step explanation in the software guid (https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org//SoftwareGuide/SoftwareGuidech2.html#x14-190002) is hard to understand for me.
I've already installed Monteverdi2 on my maschine and I could try some segmentation algorithms in QGIS by now. I also wanted to start the tutorial (https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/packages/OTBCourses.pdf) but could not find the mentioned example data... For a better understanding of OTB I thought it is better to start from scratch. An here is the problem.... I've troubles with compiling OTB because I could not imagine how the file structur should look like, where can I find the SuperBuild files (GitHub?) to put them in my source directory (OTB_SOURCE_DIR/SuperBuild)? And what about the Prefixes? For now my goal is to learn how to process images with OTB. So do you recommend learning how to build applications within OTB for that use case? Or is it good to learn OTB from scratch?
