Hello Ernesto,

Can you try this package for OSX ?

https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/packages/nightly/2016-04-20/OTB-5.4.0-Darwin64.run

It was generated on osx 10.10.2. But I hope it should work because we don't
rely on dmg among other stuff in osx.

To install, after download you need to do:
cd /path/where/you/downloaded/OTB-5.4.0-Darwin64.run
chmod +x OTB-5.4.0-Darwin64.run
./OTB-5.4.0-Darwin64.run
cd OTB-5.4.0-Darwin64

(to start monteverdi)
open Monteverdi.app

(to start mapla)
open Mapla.app

to access otb applications via scripts

cd bin
./otbcli_ReadImageInfo
