Hi!

The agenda for the 2nd day in
http://wiki.orfeo-toolbox.org/index.php/OTB_Users_meeting_and_hackfest_2016
states:

Wed., june 8: Technical session

09:30 - 12:00 : Tutorials

Roadmaps and features request (what do you want in future versions of OTB ?)
How to enhance OTB documentation ?
Bug sorting party
Roadmap of Monteverdi2

While the general subject of the session is named "tutorials" the actual items
are not Tutorials. Could you please clarify?

you're right, I think that morning/afternoon contents were inverted. Fiwed now. So the program is for now tutorials in the morning and brainstorming session in the afternoon. Feel free to make some suggestions in both sesions.

Also, are these dates final? I need to close my agenda for that period.

Yes! The meeting room is booked, the event will take place on June 7-9 2016. Hope to see you see there and finally meet face to face.

Manuel

Thanks,
Agus

Nice knowing there will be another users meeting, hopefully I can make
it this time.
Nevertheless, why do you plan for the busiest months for field campaigns? I can
book all those days now, but, afterwards, if campaigns have to be
moved because of weather or logistics
problems I will have to cancel (as last year). Why don't you plan for
the period December to February?

Dear all,

As the previous year [1][2], we planned to organize a OTB users/hackfest
meeting in Toulouse. The event would be open to anyone, and would last for 2
or 3 days. This event marks also the tenth anniversary of Orfeo Toolbox (the
first commit has been done Thu, 5 Jan 2006 at 15:41:46 [3]).

The tentative program is as follows:

Day 1: Plenary session (general presentations from the OTB Team and the
users)

Day 2: Technical session (tutorial, work groups)

Day 3: Hackfest (adopt an OTB developer, code a amazing feature, fix a bug)

The following page on the wiki gathers information on the event and will be
updated regularly :
http://wiki.orfeo-toolbox.org/index.php/OTB_Users_meeting_and_hackfest_2016

First thing to do is to pick a date, so we set up a small poll for dates
between end of may and mid-june. If you are interested in the event, please
fill in your availabilities :
https://framadate.org/VvKoBC1EFy1UiPk7

Don't hesitate to provide feedback on the previous edition, to help us to
improve the next event.

Many thanks, and see you soon in Toulouse!

Best Regards,
Mickaël
