Hi all, I would like to know if anyone have an experience with water column correction with ORFEO. I 'd like to perform a classification of bottom reflectance pixel of Pleiades data to classify coral reef and seagrass.
I find on the web a very interesting research: http://cearac.nowpap.org/fpm/meeting_report/13/Annex15.pdf I sum up the methodology used for pre processing below: ## Preparation for processing satellite images - Geometric correction - DN to Radiance - Masking land areas and deep waters - Atmospheric corrections - *Water column correction* ## Image classification - Pixel Based - Object oriented ## Validation If anyone is interest to share abouth this... We are currently working on the water column correction, with depth invariant index and bottom reflectance index calculus... If you know reasearch project with similar methodology, i will be happy to share. Maybe we can write a new ORRFEO module :) Best Regards -- -- Check the OTB FAQ at http://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/FAQ.html You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "otb-users" group.
