Hi,
A short news about integration of OTB functionalities into an external
project drive by CS SI toolbox team. Since the last version of SNAP
toolbox [1], you can use the OTB applications through their Python API.
At [2], you can find a tutorial showing how to integrate an OTB operator
in SNAP via the Python API. It demonstrates computing ndvi for a source
product opened in SNAP through OTB. The python-operator-plugin asks for
red and nir bands that will be used to compute NDVI. The parameter
options are handled by ndvi_op-in.xml.
The code of the example can be found at [3].
It is a new success story for dissemination of OTB.
