The otb script https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/packages/OTB-5.8.0-Linux64.run does not make any folder names "Applications". The script makes only these: monteverdi.sh, mapla.sh, otbenv.profile, bin (folder), lib (folder), share (folder). I have also run the suggested command as: sudo -s source otbenv.profile
but still i am getting the same error after running otbApplicationLauncherCommandLine: ERROR: LoadApplication, no module found ... ERROR: nO loaded application...
