Unfortunately we do not support python3 at this time. This is something we 
would like to add as soon as possible. But we haven't had time yet.

In the meantime, if you must use python3 you can always use 
subprocess.check_call to call otb via bash command line. Just make sure 
otbcli_* are in your PATH.

Hi all,

I have installed OTB-5.8.0-Linux64 in my Lubuntu 16.04 64-bit computer.
It seems that the supported Python interface is for python 2.7.
Will there be a python interface release for python 3.5 or higher?
If I want to have a python 3 interface, how can I modify the OTB settings?
Do I need to revise the content of "otbApplication.py"?
