Also, we are planning a minor release (5.10.1) quite soon, so we can make sure that the SERTITObject module gets updated with the bug-fix.

You can compile the remote module after updating the code from the Git using the following command from your build folder :
cmake ../otb/ -DModule_SertitObject=ON
or if you are using the SuperBuild : cmake ../otb/SuperBuild 
-DModule_SertitObject=ON
An other option is to copy the code from the Git (the .cpp and the .h) and compile it as an OTB application using the attached CMakeLists.txt.
