Dear OTB group,

I was very happy seeing the new prepackaged installation for OTB including
the remote modules, especially the mosaic one!
So now I am running the newest prepackaged OTB version 5.10.1 in a Ubuntu
16.04 environment. I noticed that otbcli_Segmentation gives me problems,
i.e. producing a single squared polygon bounding the image.
I use the exact same command as I used in 5.8. (ubuntugis repository) where
I did not have any issues so far.

otbcli_Segmentation -in lsat_guayquil-0000000000-0000000000.tif -filter
meanshift -filter.meanshift.spatialr 5 -filter.meanshift.ranger 15
-filter.meanshift.thres 0.1 -filter.meanshift.maxiter 100
-filter.meanshift.minsize 25 -mode.vector.out lsat_guayquil.shp

The file can be found here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k5xgjgzvdadmjb0/lsat_guayquil-0000000000-0000000000.tif.zip?dl=0

As a quick and dirty solution I just installed the Ubuntugis version again,
keeping the 5.10.1 in another folder and sourcing it after the actual
$PATH. This assures that the core commands come from 5.8 located in
/usr/bin. while I still have access to the new ones installed elsewhere.

Would be nice if you can investigate and resolve that issue.

Thanks in advance,
Andreas
