Hi there. I am hoping to use the decision tree tool in OTB montevardi to classify an image containing various crop types (e.g. oats, wheat, barely) in order to generate crop yield and crop area. I am familiar with the basics of a decision tree, and have only ever built one via graph in ENVI.
To generate a decision tree in OTB:I click 'Train images classifier' then fill in the parameters as follows: input image list: I input a Sentinel 2 image and then a Landsat 8 image of the same area. input vector data list: I input 2 training files containing polygons and signatures from both the sentinel 2 and Landsat 8 file input statistics model : I put in a file generated earlier by the second statistics tool which has calculated the mean and std ELevation: I don't have to input a file, a default elevation will be used by the tool classifier : decision tree selected save OTB to application to XML file: a file name is saved to a location Is the above approach correct? The monteverdi plugin crashes everytime I try this approach.
