Hello All: Barbara Kornblau asked me to forward this to the OTnow list so here it is. Following up on the Survivor "incident", this seems like some truly good exposure for OT. Ron ---------- Forwarded Message --------- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 5/29/2001 Subject: Please post the Rosie thing on OT now Thanks ===Original message text= Hi Ron....can you please put this on OT now? Thanks Barbara Exciting PR for OT!!! Rosie O'Donnell, from TV and movie fame, started her own magazine. The third (July) issue is out. It has a picture of Rosie on the cover wearing a hospital gown, no make up and her arm bandaged and held with the hand up. She had severed a tendon last summer and had surgery and OT. After having another surgery to remove scar tissue, she came down with a staph infection. This issue addresses staph and tells her story. An integral part of her story is her occupational therapist Aviva Wolff of NY, who as Rosie put it "taught me how to place and hold, and isolate and hook. Along the way we became good friends." And OT's mention is in the 4th paragraph...not buried. Its great PR for OT. Barbara L.
