I am currently in a position of supervising OTs who work in habilitiation settings with developmentally disabled adults. (I am not an OT.) Settings include both day hab, and workshops. Although there are some goals which focus around dressing and cooking, most current goals focus on increasing attention to task. While I realize this is impt, I would like to see the staff focus on more functional and innovative ideas. Could anyone suggest ideas or sources for me, so that I can learn more about the types of programming we could be providing? (both on-line and book sources would be appreciated.)
