My name is Jen and I am an OT in Canada. I am currently in a transition phase to a new job setting, and I have several job options on the table. I would like to choose a job that will make me marketable in the US since I will have to move down there in the near future. Would it be possible for you to tell me about OT job market in mental health vs. physical medicine? I have experience in phys med but none in mental health at this point. I am wondering if it would be worthy for me to go for a position in mental health and leave a great job opportunity in phys med behind. Since I graduated from the OT school about a year ago, it is quite critical for me when it comes to choosing the right option to build an interestng "job portfolio." Thank you for your time.
