I'm persently an OT intern in my Level II Fieldwork site. I just wanted to give a quick "Hello" to everyone on here. Although I did give input to one of the recent discussions, I also feel that as a student I cannot provide much valuable information to you guys just yet. I do appreciate the therapy websites and other helpful ideas that are shared, and so I wanted to do my part. I have found one website that is particularly helpful for those working in hand therapy (especially new therapists!). The website is www.e-hand.com. I hope it helps someone out there. It provides treatment ideas for several hand injuries from the point of surgery to rehab. In the meantime, I look forward to reading all your communications. I will try to respond when I have any useful information. Donna, if you still needed FOR's for your student, I agree with MOHO as well as Allen's Cognitive Levels. Since you work in home health, those levels help you decide whether or not a patient can live on their own and/or how much supervision they need according to their cognitive level. Also, as a student on internship, it really doesn't matter what you write. It probably won't help your student much anyway! Just do your thing and try to teach him/her all you can once they're with you. By the way, now that I'm on a roll, are any of you guys in Florida??? I've always wondered where everyone on here practices. --Ana ******************** Unsubscribe by sending a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the message's body, put the following text: unsubscribe OTlist ------ OTnow messages are archived at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] (and) http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] ********rC***********
