Lucy,

Because spirituality means different things to different people and/or faiths,  your conference must be prepared to address the role of spirituality in healing for faiths of Christianity, Judaism, Taoism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and the Native American.

Exploring the topic of spirituality would perhaps enable the practitioner to not only examine his/her own bias, but have an understanding and appreciation of others spirituality in order to effectively use it in treatment and healing.

Subject: Question about spirituality and OT

The College of St. Catherine, St. Paul-Minneapolis, Occupational
Science-Occupational Therapy department, is planning to sponsor a workshop
on the role of spirituality in occupational therapy.
We wish to identify areas of need and interest during our planning process
and would appreciate input from the OT community.

What would be of benefit to you, as a practitioner or educator, in
exploring the topic of spirituality?

Please respond by sending a personal email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thank you,
Lucy Crea, C.O.T.A.
