after briefly looking through your mail I feel that there is one component that you have missed.......ACTIVITY. Whether you are trying to be a specialist in a specific area or not without purposeful activity which impacts on all of the component areas we are not OT's. There is much more to buttoning up a shirt than fine motor skills.
I believe that sometimes we try and justify our practice with complex matters rather than addressing basic philosophy.
