Ron, The organisation for which I work is developing a specialist seating service directed primarily towards servicing the seating and equipment interface needs (eg powerchair switching options) of rural and remote clients. A component of the funding for the project is for videoconferencing with clients and their treating therapists to assist with training in and evaluation of the equipment being trialed...however i think trying to do a complete seating assessment like this would be impossible..it's just too "hands on"...videoconferencing might work with some aspects of initial data gathering though...will there ever be "virtual occupational therapy" though???
